Arbejdet med de nye læreplaner i forbindelsen med gymnasiereformen er et oplagt sted at inddrage de fagprofessionelle i implementeringen. Langt de fleste gymnasiale fag har deres egen faglige forening, der varetager det pågældende fags interesse. De faglige foreninger repræsenterer de fagprofessionelle gymnasielærere i de enkelte fag, man følger udviklingen indenfor faget og arrangerer faglig efteruddannelse. De faglige foreninger har specialviden om den nyeste faglighed i de enkelte fag samt fagenes didaktik i en gymnasial sammenhæng.

Der er god tradition for at inddrage repræsentanter fra de faglige foreninger i forbindelse med udarbejdelse af læreplaner. Ved at inddrage de faglige foreninger i læreplansarbejdet får man både højtspecialiseret faglig sparring, en høj grad af legitimitet i forhold til de endelige læreplaner samt medejerskab blandt gymnasielærerne til selve indholdet af reformen.

Vi håber den gode tradition må fortsætte.
